How we handle your data
What is collected, what it is for, and what you can ask for. In plain language, no small print.
Who handles the data
This site belongs to the fado singer Marta Rosa and is run by Onofriana, which handles her representation and production. For anything about personal data, or to exercise the rights below, write to fado@onofriana.pt.
What is collected
Three sets, and none of them is collected unless the visitor triggers it:
- What you type into the contact form: name, email and, if you fill them in, phone, place, type of event, intended date and the message.
- The email you leave to be kept posted: the address, the language you were reading in, and the page you left it on.
- Usage measurement, if you allow it: pages viewed, time spent, device type, where the visit came from, and the IP address, which Google Analytics does not store in full.
What it is for
Form data is used to answer your request and, if it goes ahead, to arrange the booking. The subscription email is used only to let you know when there is a new record or new dates. None of it is sold to anyone, and one does not feed the other: asking for a quote does not sign you up, and signing up does not make you a sales contact. Measurement is used to see which pages get read and improve the site.
On what grounds
Handling form data rests on pre-contractual steps and on the legitimate interest of answering whoever writes. The subscription and the measurement rest on consent alone: on the first, the consent of whoever types the address and presses the button; on the second, the banner. Either can be withdrawn whenever you like — measurement from the "Cookies" button at the foot of any page, and the subscription from the link in every email or by writing to fado@onofriana.pt.
Cookies
Until somebody consents, this site writes no cookie at all — not even an essential one, because it needs none to work. Your language and theme preference stay in the browser’s own local storage, which is not a cookie and never leaves it. If you allow measurement, Google Analytics 4 is loaded, and it does not store the full IP address.
Third-party content
Some pages show content hosted elsewhere — Instagram posts, YouTube videos, players from Deezer, Spotify and Apple Music. Those services may set their own cookies, under their own policies. YouTube videos load only after you press play, and use the no-cookie domain.
Who it is shared with
The form is delivered by Formspree, which sends the email, and the request is recorded in Onofriana’s management system, hosted on Supabase in the European Union. Subscription emails are held by Resend, which keeps the list and does the sending. Google Analytics may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
For how long
Contact requests are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, after that, for the applicable legal period. The subscription email is kept until you ask to leave, and goes that same day. Measurement data is deleted after fourteen months.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or objection, and portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority at cnpd.pt.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one on this page.
